The great logician’s first three publications, contained in this rare complete run of the Jenaer Literaturzeitung, an ambitious periodical for the review of new publications. Founded by the University of Jena, it included contributions by Burckart, Delbrück, Dilthey, Droysen, Haeckel, Cantor, Curtius, Dahn, and Frege. Frege’s contributions are his first three publications proper, not counting his two dissertations (the 1873 doctoral thesis and the 1874 Habilitationsschrift):
